Cocktails and Wine Pairings for Thanksgiving!

HOT TODDY

pairings

1.5 parts Milagro Añejo
1 part Agave Nectar
4 each Cloves
1 each Cinnamon Stick
1 each Whole Anise Star
4 parts boiling water
1 each Lemon Wheel

Method: Combine agave nectar, spice and tequila in a heat-resistent snifter or mug. Add the boiling water. Squeeze the lemon, drop it in, and stir until agave nectar has melted.

 

THE HIGHLANDS

2 parts Milagro Añejo Tequila
1 part Oloroso Sherry
0.5 part Drambuie

Garnish: Lemon peel & sage leaf
Glass: Coupe

 

CARPE DIA PUNCH
(Añejo Lime Blackberry Ginger Carpe Dia Punch)

2 parts Milagro Añejo Tequila
1 part Lime Juice
0.75 part Blackberry Syrup
1 each Sage Leaf
1 part Hibiscus Tea
1 part Ginger Beer

Garnish: Blackberries & Sage
Glass: Punch bowl

Method: Build all ingredients except ginger beer in a punch bowl over a block of ice. Top with ginger beer right before stirring immediately.

 

CAFÉ A LA MEXICANA

1.5 part Milagro Añejo
0.75 part Ancho Reyes Chili Liqueur
4 parts Fresh Brewed Coffee
1 teaspoon Brown Sugar
1 part Heavy Cream

Garnish: Two Coffee Beans
Glass: Clear Mug

Method: Build in a clear mug or other drink vessel suitable for hot beverages. Top with whipped cream and chili flakes.

 

HOT CHOCOLATE

3 parts Heavy Cream
1 pinch Grated Chili Chocolate Bar

Glass: Clear Mug

Method: Build in a clear mug or other drink vessel suitable for hot beverages. Top with whipped cream and chili chocolate shavings.
