Halloween Cocktails – Eat, Drink & Be Scary!

Break out your mixing cauldrons and magic shakers,  it’s time to celebrate Halloween! Below you’ll find some ghoul-worthy recipes that are sure to disappear before you can say “hokus, pokus”. Let the celebrations commence and serve up these spooktacular libations at your Halloween monster mash!

El Diablo (a.k.a ‘the devil’)

1.75 oz Partida Reposado

.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice

.5 oz Agave Nectar

.25 oz Crème de Cassis

Ginger Beer

Shake all ingredients except for Ginger beer with ice and strain into a highball glass. Top with Ginger beer and stir.

 

The Black Widow

2 oz. Diplomatico Reserva

.5 oz. Amaro Lucano

.5 oz. honey syrup*

2 dashes Angostura

Stir all ingredients and strain into a chilled cocktail coupe.  Garnish with an orange peel and grated allspice.

*honey syrup:  in a small pot over medium heat, combine 1 c. honey and 1 c. water and stir lightly until dissolved

1 oz. Amaro Lucano

1 oz. Sweet Vermouth (La Quintinye Vermouth Royal)

Soda water

Add first two ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain in to cocktail glass, top with soda water.

2 oz. Usquaebach Premium Reserve

.75 oz. Sweet Vermouth (La Quintinye Vermouth Royal)

3 dashes Angostura Bitters

Add ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir and strain in to cocktail glass.

 

The Green Gremlin

1 oz.  G’Vine Nouaison Gin

.5 oz. blue curacao liqueur

.5 oz. white creme de cacao liqueur

1.5 oz. freshly squeezed orange juice

1 egg white

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and dry shake (no ice) vigorously for one minute. Add a few cubes of ice and shake again for 30 seconds and strain in to cocktail glass.

 

Wicked Witch’s Brew

4 oz. fresh orange juice

1 oz. *honey syrup

Sapporo Premium

2 -3 dashes orange bitters

In a tall cocktail glass add orange juice and honey syrup, top with Sapporo beer and orange bitters. Stir gently with bar spoon and garnish with orange slice.

2 oz Extra Dry Vermouth (La Quintinye Vermouth Royal)

2 slices fresh ginger

3.5 oz ginger ale

Very gently crush the ginger in a tumbler. Add ice to glass and top with vermouth and ginger ale. Garnish with an orange twist.

4 oz chilled Prosecco DOC

​.5​ oz Campari

1 o​z white peach puree

​.5 ​oz grenadine

​​In a pint glass, gently stir all of the ingredients. Pour the drink into a chilled flute.
